Re: how close to plant palo verde and pepper tree


In Hawaii S. molle isn't that aggressive as compared to
S. teribenthifolius (Brazillian pepper tree).  The few grand specimens
that I have seen in Hawaii are dwarfed by anything I saw in
California.  You may want to check and see if there were any allelopathic
compounds produced by this treee.  I sesm to recalll something to this
effect by S. terebinthifolius....
