I remember a very nice specimen on the hill of
Howlett's Coastal Zone Nursery (Malibu; the nursery is
probably now sold).  I'm sure it was at least 20-25
feet at the time.

Also, Santa Barbara has just started planted young
trees, especially on lower State Street, downtown. 
These fresh young trees are already 10-15 feet, maybe
more.  I can't imagine them not getting any bigger and
soon.

Something I've noticed though, is that most Spathodeas
planted in California are planted near the coast
(where it rarely freezes hard).  Consequently, the
trees are windswept and have that typical "flattop"
and dwarfish look.
