Dear all, I cannot help with the name of a source for willow leaved
mandarins, but I can confirm they are still grown in Italy and are highly
ornamental. I just wanted to suggest a book, "Gli agrumi ornamentali" ( for
those who can read Italian, or even Spanish), see
http://www.saalfelds.freeserve.co.uk/MyBooks.htm. The book lists this and
many other vars and cultivars of citruses, and has great photos. It is an
interesting historical overview on the vars grown in Italy in the past
centuries, and was written by the most famous citrus nurserymen of Tuscany,
Oscar Tintori. It is really interesting, and I recommend it to all those
fashinated by these great plants.
BTW, 0°C these last three nights, all my citruses are nesting in a coat of
fleece...
Ciao,
Alessandra
