Its about to happen. The termite tenters arrive Friday morning and almost everything is cut away from the house at least 18". I have two plants that are potential problems, however and I am looking for input. I have heard that passiflora and dalechampia vines respond poorly to being cut back. However, the only chance I have to save them from the deadly gas is to cut them back to teh ground. What do you think, folks? Vikane is absorbed both through roots and through leaves so the termite tenters reccommend saturating the soil around the house before they tent to fill any air pockets. That will protect roots but nothing protects leaves.
To cut back or not to cut back, that is tonight's question!
