Re: Propagating the Pepper Tree (Schinus Molle)


Not that it has anything to do with propagating Schinus molle, but it's
good to know that this tree is fire resistant. There is one which survived
the Berkeley-Oakland fire in 1991, and my husband tells me that when he
was young his family tried to use logs from this tree and they did not
burn.
