Can't go wrong with Bulbine frutescens. Well....maybe it spreads too much but I love it.

You are talking about the dwarf orange one, I assume...


How about any of the orange arctotis (copper and pumpkin colored) or even gallardia.
I have an orange echinaceae ('Meadow Brite') that it is slowly gaining speed.
I also grew some amazingly orange cosmos this past summer - it was called 'Cosmic Red' but it was bright orange for me!


What about the coral colored watsonia (bulb), cirtanthus (also a bulb), Papaver atlanticum

One of the justicias has bright orange flowers but I dont recall which species that is.

We'll just keep going on this.

And in that burgundy/gray color category, remember Melianthus major - a real showstopper in my garden!
