In this case, Linda's second message did not join the rest of the thread. I have no idea why. Can someone explain?
The message that was sorted out of the thread did so because of the blank space added before the '?' in the subject line. Even this small different will cause the program that Hort.net uses to treat it as a new thread. This space was probably introduced accidentally by Linda or her mailing program.
