Hello all,
Thank you all for the recommendations on
orange plants - I have a wealth of information to digest and incorporate into my
plans.
I am going to increase and develop my rose cutting
garden and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for roses which are
good for cutting, are fragrant, have a long vase life and are relatively
easy to take care of in my hot, dry, windy area?
Would you recommend my purchasing roses bare root
via mail-order or through a nursery? Do you have bareroot nurseries to
recommend or any nurseries in California that are a good source for
fragrant cutting roses?
A couple of recommendations I have already gotten
are America, (I never would have thought of a climber as a cutting flower)
Mr. Lincoln, and, my favorite, Apricot Nectar.
Thank you.
