I don't mind notices of anything plant-related. I would object if the message is about cheap watches, medications or university degrees.
I don't object to nurseries announcing that they have started a website or have just published a new catalogue. I don't want to have the whole catalogue dumped on me unless I request it.
There are lots of on-topic threads that don't interest me, but I'm certainly not going to complain about them, either.
