Hi Karrie,

It sort of looks like a fasciated (monstrous) Cereus thing that's pretty common in the hort trade, but the color makes me think it's rotting, does the plant have a fetid odor about it? Sometimes these cacti will begin to rot and stink to high heaven and dogs find them irresistible. Or it could be a Stapelia of some sort, also looks very familiar to this. In either case they might give the pup a tummy ache for awhile but shouldn't cause any long-term grief. Hope this helps!

Someone’s dog ate this and got sick.  Any ideas what this succulent is?  It apparently has spines.
