 Dear patient-waiting seed exchange recipiets -

 No, I have not yet sent out your seeds.

 I'm sorry this has been delayed.  Turns out this was more tedious
 then I had previously imagined.  It was also the case that I had a
 number of requests at the very end of the request period, and things
 got confusing after a very orderly start.  I had not anticipated so
 many requests (more than 80), but I'm glad to see that there is an
 interest in this sort of exchange.

 I am nearly done packaging the available seed, and will mail all of
 it out at once to save time and keep it simple (more complicated to
 do it piecemeal).  Guess you may not get them before Xmas, but they
 will be a nice New Year's gift!

 For those of you who did not participate in this exchange, there
 will likely be others.  Also, the California Horticultural Seed
 Exchange is coming together now and members for 1997 will be able to
 partake of those fabulous offerings.  Let me know if you want more
 information about how to join Cal Hort.

 Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding.  Next time I
 will DEFINITELY enlist some help to make sure this goes faster and
 is not subject to the wims of my available free time.
