As a newcomer to the group I want to say how much I have learned , and how I
have enjoyed following the threads. As for rooting cuttings, rosemary et al,
my most successful attempts have been after a heavy rain shower, when the
ground is warm. Spring and autumn preferred. I rush round the garden,
pulling and snipping, using much the same methods as have been recommended
here, and I then put stones around the bases of the new plants, over the soil
to stop it drying out and to shade the rooting area. This has worked for me
for all sorts of things, even in full sun.
I shall be sorry to miss out on a couple of weeks over the holidays.
Greetings to all.
