Musa "Rajapuri"

Well, I finally was able to pick up my banana plant from the post office.
When the lady at the desk got it for me she saw "1 banana" written on the
box and wondered if I had mail ordered a single piece of fruit :).


Anyway, I must say the plant did well. The soil it was in was still moist,
and the leaves not wilted, so it did well. This variety has interesting
faint red splotches on the leaves, as well as a bluish waxyness to the
undersides of the leaves. With this plant and the ginger, it should give a
nice tropical look to a rather ugly part of the yard.
