Well, Nan, I've heard and read that many times, but some very good native
plant gardeners in this area water their flannel bushes and get great
results; they tell me I don't water enough. I've notice that many plants
that are drought tolerant or drought insistent in other places seem to need
a bit of moisture to get them through the very long hot dry season here.
