These seem to be pretty tough to find. Does your friend want a western
N.A. native such as Isopyrum hallii? The eastern N.A. Isopyrum biternatum
seems to be on some restriction lists.
The only firm I could find on the internet selling any seeds of this genera,
specifically, Isopyrum thalictroides, is Juhász & Co Ltd,
somewhere in Hungary, unfortunately I can read very little German
and no Hungarian so I can't help you actually buy them.
