Growing cyclamen species from seed is comparatively easy. You sow the seed and wait, watering carefully and keeping the seed pans always out of direct hot sun and carefully weeded and kept free of fallen leaves etc. I usually put some fine gravel over the top just to help keep the seeds in place and to reduce the carrying activities of ants. Sometimes takes a year or so. There are other, faster methods that usually involve soaking the seed in hottish water for three or four water changes and then sowing; others swear by the dark cupboard method. For all the details you could check out the Cyclamen Society website - which I've forgotten right now as we stoke up the kitchen and the Webber for Christmas tomorrow. Anyway cyclamen are easy and so prolific after a few years self sowing.
