Dear Betsy, Richard et al.,
I have just completed a review of THE HANBURY BOTANIC GARDENS for 'Pacific Horticulture' - a fine book, very evocative and informative, a good introduction to a great, and all to infrequently visited garden. What particularly attracted my attention in the light of our recent exchanges was a striking photograph of Salvia cinnibarina growing there. Does anyone grow it? What conditions does it need? Is seed available anywhere?
regards
