Yes, I remember now we already talked about that
: Your plant is Cistus x skanbergii, the hybrid between C. monspeliensis and C.
parviflorus. This is very nice plant, covered with small salmon pink flowers in
spring. It is a natural hybrid which can be found in the Akamas Peninsula in
Cyprus (a wonderful place, quite close to my idea of Paradise...), along with
some other very rare Cistus natural hybrids. Cistus x skanbergii exists in two
forms, either a prostrate or mound forming plant (that's probably yours) or a
less common erect shrub which can be as tall as Cistus monspeliensis.
The best is to mix the draining material to the
existing clay, on about 20 cm.
