A bushel

I think it equates to 10 U.S. gallons:

1 British bushel = 8 British gallons
1 British gallon = 8 British pints
a British pint is 20 oz, not 16 as in the U.S.
therefore a bushel is 8 x 8 x 20 = 1280 oz
1 U.S. gallon = 8 x 16 oz pints = 128 oz
therefore 1 British bushel (1280/128) = 10 U.S. gallons
