Acorns sprouting in every plant pot too.We have a large squirrel population at
my home.I'm not complaining though.The critters are amusing,except when they eat
things I don't want 'em too like my few precious Hostas which I keep in pots up
on a table to avoid the snail
damage...the squirrels ate up all the dormant buds...aaugh...
But just now I am really happy to see the native Oak seedlings since so many
trees have been lost.On the other hand,at work the seedling Oaks (Quercus ilex
and Q. suber)are a major weed problem along with the Olive (Olea europea)and
Pittosporum undulatum seedlings,and did I mention Privet (Ligustrum)???
