Hi, Anna. I think if you dig up as much of the root ball as you can and cut the top back to just above a set of buds, you should have no trouble transplanting it. Again, I would do it in late spring, just after it has finished blooming. And remember when relocating it that it likes a cool root run. Good luck. Kurt
