Welcome to the list. Like many gardenrs world-wide we are a pretty
eccentric lot, but with our hearts definitely in the right place.

I am sure with your special knowledge you will be able to help many of
us to make better use of available moisture. Even though I myself live
in a relatively high-rainfall area (annual average between 60 and 70"),
we nevertheless have a Med. type distribution pattern and it can get
amazingly dry in late summer through early autumn, not helped in my
particular property by a very free-draining soil which was once an old
(and stony) river bed.

Best wishes

Moira
