Richard - To a (British) gardener, 'tunnel' = polytunnel, ie a large-scale
structure of sturdy polythene stretched over curved metal ribs, and with
polythene ends/flaps. Think giant greenhouse. They're more used by
commercial growers than private hobby-ists, for the obvious reason that such
a thing is about the ugliest single item it's possible to add to a
'plant-ed' landscape. ('Discuss....')
