Yes, they are closely related. Other related genera include Lamium*,
Leucas*, Leonuris, Stachys, Microtoena*, Marrubium, Lagochilus*, Ajuga,
Ballota, Colquhounia, Eremostachys*, Teucrium, Prostanthera, Scutellaria,
and Physostegia.(all subfamily Lamioideae of Lamiaceae)
* - these are more closely related
