At the moment a plant flowers in the garden with brown (orange) flowers. De plant and leaves looks like a gazania but the flowers are completely filled and look like a chrysanthemum as bought in a flowershop.
Any suggestions?

I wonder if you do indeed have a Gazania - there is a new series of double flowered cultivars call 'Sunbathers'. They are being marketed in New Zealand and perhaps elsewhere (I am not sure if they are in California yet). The flowers would suggest a chrysanthemum, and there is a cultivar that is the amber orange/brown that you mention (called 'Sunset Jane'). You might check the picture here to see if they are the same: http://www.sunbatherdaisies.co.nz/
We've had a double yellow Gazania here in California for a while now, more fully double rather than the sort of double 'anemone' form of the Sunbathers series mentioned above.
Gazanias are great plants and easy to grow. The only mistake people make with them is relying on them to completely carpet the ground and keep out weeds - they do not really do this well, tending to leave open areas throughout their growth. They do combine well with other matt-like, drought tolerant ground covers such Frankenia laevis and Herniaria glabra, both being a rich green that compliments the gray-green Gazania foliage and sets off the flowers.
