Well,
if you not experience heavy frost I would try with some unusual Species like
the yellow Camellia chrysantha (from Viet Nam and China) or the small white
flowering (but what for a smell!) Camellia kissi(i) (from E. Asia - C. Nepal
to S.W. China). Both are frost resistant to at least minus 4-6 ƒC and growth
well in shade.
