Hello Chantal and Catherine
Thank you for replying. The spicata is pictured in Beth Chatto Garden Web site http://www.bethchattoshop.co.uk/shop/11/217/index.htm at the bottom of the page and I think I can be purchased there or at Digging Dog nursery: http://www.diggingdog.com/pages2/perennialsnop.php . The Alcea rugosa looks splendid, although it is not the plant that I grew. There is a picture of it on the Annies Annuals web site www.anniesannuals.com .
Many thanks,
Anna
