Yahoo is a source of a lot of spam. I got so much spam from Yahoo addresses, that I have set my filter to automatically discard any messages from Yahoo, except for particular addresses that I have specified I will accept. I would recommend everyone do this. I got so much spam, I now have about 200 filter instructions, mostly to discard messages. Now I see very little of it.
