Re: Fw: Unkown plant

Thanks everybody for there suggestions. I found the plant under Google. It is Abutilon angulatum, which comes from South Africa and Zimbabwe. It seems to be still very rare as garden plant. This winter we had a extreme cold night for the Algarve and it was -1degee C in my garden. The Abutilon only lost a few lower leaves, but kept flowering.
I previous suspected already that it was an Abutilon, but at that time I could not find a picture on Google which looked like it.

Do a Google search for shrubby species of Sphaeralcea.

I have since two year a shrub in my garden, which I find hard to identify.
The present hight is about 1.5m but I think it will be become much bigger. The flowers are Malva like, single and yellow-orange. The leaves are similair to Sparmania africana. Both the leaves and the branches are hairy.
It flowers since autumn.
Any suggestions
