I used to do a lot of seeds and I distributed them to a big list of bromeliad afficionados. I had some trouble with plastic bags because they don't breathe. If the seeds have a little extra moisture it tends to evaporate making a humid atmosphere which encouraged fungus, rot etc. I recommend using paper which, I believe, breathes. ---Chas---

I've been storing home gathered seeds in small plastic bags (like baggies) in a couple of CD storage boxes which have adjustable compartments and a see through cover - takes packets too. Hate parting with empty seed packets, they are gorgeous - used to use them as book marks but now just shamelessly put them in a box, one day will have a proper garden shed and will put them on the wall with thumb tacks.
