Is there such a thing as an evergreen Crepe Myrtle?

Most of the accounts in my reference books do mention that that there are some memebers of the genus which are evergreen, but none gives any details of any of these so I conclude thes are either not in cultivation or only suitable for very tropical climates. You could of course try a google search if you are particularly interested.
