When to move Crinodonna Lilies?

I have a naturalized, huge clump of Crinodonna lilies I'd like to move a similar location in another part of my garden. I'm in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, but far enough south to have quite warm and sunny conditions.

This bulb never seems to go dormant and as the last flowers are usually in October or November (and I've been told new nourishment is gathered after blooming which makes it winter here), there doesn't seem to be an opportune time to move them. Right now, about the time I can really work in the garden again, it looks like new growth is starting in already.

Do you think I can take a chance to move them right now?

I'm not sure of the correct scientific name for these. Have seen Crinum x Amaryllis belladonna and Amarcrinum memoria-corsii.

These are pretty spectacular for me, blooming from mid July on with large clusters of bright pink flowers that look quite a lot like amaryllis blooms.. It's just that they have outgrown their bed and also one that the dogs seem to run through. I'd like to move them just 10 feet away in a less traveled, larger area. Their green foliage is great, nothing bothers them, their late summer flowers are just spectacular, and they have a wonderful scent, too.

Any advice about when/if to try and move them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Carol
