thank you for your encouragement

Dear folks -

Thank you to the many who responded to me personally as well as to the
list - I very much appreciate your words of encouragement with regard
to keep the gimcw.org web site (gardening in mediterranean climates
worldwide) up and growing.  I am also grateful for some of the content
ideas also forwarded.

I have also taken the advice of many to create some sort of donation
accepting mechanism towards the support of the site.  You'll now
notice that there is a new "donate" section on the web site
(http://gimcw.org/donate/), which takes you to a simple page with a
PayPal link for accepting donations.  You do not need to have a PayPal
account in order to use this - just follow the instructions provided
by PayPal.  If this does not work properly (this is the first of such
accounts I've ever set up), please let me know.

Again, many thanks.  And if you'd like to see something in particular
on the web site, please send me a note.
