travel accommodations with gardens?

Hey folks -

One of the lists of things I am working on the for gimcw.org web site is a directory of places to stay that have significant gardens. These don't have to be 'world class', written up repeatedly and photographed in many coffee table books type of gardens. They should be gardens in line with our discussions here, appropriate to the local climate, frugal in the use of water and other precious resources, and even educational in their mission. Just imagine, if you were traveling, what kind of garden you would wish to surround your accommodations. The selection will, of course, be filtered to locations that can be classed as mediterranean climate, or a least somewhat similar.

Also, Deborah and I are planning to come to Europe this fall and there might be an opportunity to visit some of these locations in person.
