Re: considering closing this listserv

What was the reason for changing to reply to individual only?  Was it a preference of the group at the time? Or something to do with the listserv?

It seems to me that everyone now-a-days are used to groups to which the messages go to the whole group. Perhaps if that were changed (if possible) the group might take off again.  

On the other hand, these kinds of groups seems to losing some of their oomph.  I read just the other day that the huge IMDb (International Movie Database) is removing its message boards, citing that readership on them is way down yet FB and other social media use is more lively.

Thank you for writing. I seem to have less and less time to look at this

Activity began to diminish as soon as the list was changed so that a "Reply"
went only to the person who posted the message, not to the list as a whole.

I had to remember to "Reply All" so this message could get to everybody, but
very few people seemed to know about "Reply All", so lively discussions
ceased.

Can we try it again for a while so that a simple "Reply" will be sent to the
whole list?
