[medit-plants] Re: my new subscription

Dear Maura,
I will be in Boulder Creek next week to visit old college friends and would love to visit your garden. If you are open to this, would you please contact me at my email below? I am a retired Environmental Horticulture Advisor with the University of California Cooperative Extension and have done extensive research trials on plant water use, with some specialization in CA natives, and I would love to see your work of love in the mountains. I will be there from Monday afternoon till midday Wednesday.

Kind regards,

congratulations chantal, we of the same age are still playing, my new
(3 years)playground is my nextdoor neighbors property -they said do whatever I want (i call it "the secret garden") i am mostly concentrating on

california natives, along with our wild cherry trees, and avocado trees, its been fun to see what the gophers take out and what they leave alone, and i dont take the losses personally, -lucky you on a roof top!

my garden of 35 years has so many plants to share, also...i like the kind of gardener i have grown into: i enjoy and appreciate every stage ,is perfect in my eyes

p.s. i have enjoyed your garden shares over the years, so thank you, again, (i type slowly)

I used to have a 2000 squared meters garden in Montpellier (France) where I enjoyed trying growing rare plants, but now, with my age (76) and old bones, we sold the house and garden to buy an apartment close to Montpellier. It is a roof top with 2 huge terraces where I can play again with pots and big planters. Here we are now beginning a new life. I don’t regret my garden because I look at the future garden I’m trying to grow; New challenge !!!
