Replying here to my own. last message. Chantal says she’s had no US orders for MGS seeds in 2025 and only a handful in 2024, one of which was mine which had been destroyed at Customs. The others, presumably, went through without incident and without APHIS paperwork as that is all new territory for Chantal. My permit for selected species from France show no paperwork required, in any case.
My primary question is why no one’s ordering seeds from Chantal. The list is of an enormous variety of seeds from all member countries; the proces at our end requires nothing more than sending Chantal our list of desiderata; and the cost is zero. What could be better?
I intend to try once more with the latest list and assume I’ll be successful. I hope you may be encouraged to take advantage, too, of this wonderful MGS membership advantage.
Best to all of you and hoping above all for rain.

I’ve since gotten a Small Lot of Seeds permit from APHIS but I’ve not heard whether Chantal’s able to send seeds to the US either with or without proper documentation.
