Again I have expressed myself badly. I have
two bushes with this strange bearing of the
two colours, the other bush has been doing it
for years. The one I wrote about only started
to do it this year:
The bush is a mature bush, at least 8 years old.
One bush. It has always flowered with a very
strong blue. It still is 97pc blue but has
three old canes quite pink. It grows in a
bed of specie Rhododendrons, all looking fine.
The bed has had no special treatment only the
removal and replanting of a Rhodo because of
over crowding. Very odd. Both colours are
very strong. Sorry to confuse.Another new year's
resolution, not to dash letters off and call a
birch tree a bich!
