The following is a list from an excellent nurseryman's catalogue whose
home, garden and nursery is in a very cold area outside Hobart. Frosts
and snow in Winter.
Ground cover:
Grevillea x 'gaudi chaudi' - excellent plant, spreading quickly to form
dense ground cover.
'Pink Lady" - forms mat 20cm x 1m. Pink flowers
'Royal Mantle' - Viorous prostrate ground cover with red flowers in
Spring and Summer
Grevillea - evergreen shrubs -
'acanthifolia - prickly, pink flowers
'australis' - low shrub with white flowers
"Candy Stripe" - Buff flowers with red stripe
"Canterbury Gold" - Yellow flowers
"Clearview Robin" - glorious foliage, red flowers
"Coppersheen" - low spreading,dissected foliage tinted copper red and
red flowers
'diminuta' - brick red
'lanigera compacta' - dense with deep pink flowers
""Pink Pearl" - pink flowers
"Poorinda Constance" - red flowers
"Poorinda Firebird" - Bright red flowers
"Poorinda Queen" - strong grower with light orange flowers
"Poorinda Signet" - medium grower, pink fl.
'rivularis' - pale pink flowers
'rosmarinifolia lutea' - Yellow flowers
"Summerleas" - local [Tasmanian] hybrid of G.acanthifolia and
G.longifolia. Good tinted red young growth. Red flowers
'victoriae' - the most cold hardy G. Forms a compact, upright bush with
clusters of red flowers
'victoriae var miqueliana. Unusual soft rounded foliage. Clusters of
salmon red flowers
It has taken me long enough to copy, hope there are not too many typos.
