William -

Currently, the UC Davis LISTSERV does NOT archive Medit-Plants postings.
The information you were reviewing was how to retrieve archives if they
are archived by that LISTSERV.

On a PC, I accumulate Medit-Plants postings that come to me, for use for
various projects and for some ultimate purpose (perhaps yet unknown! ;-)
If you (or others) have a real need or interest in something in particular,
I can at this time do rough keyword searches against these files and
produce a compilation of postings for your review (this is very rough and
I make not guarantees about the actual result or its timeliness. I have
already produced a couple of these in the past.

Mallorn Computing has a Web page through which you can browse Medit-Plants
postings for the time period they have been operational (they do not have
the entire extent of Medit-Plants history. This is a different way to view
the discussion - some people find it easier, others prefer the normal e-mail
subscription to the group.

I am currently working on a Web project for Medit-Plants, which will
feature selected topical postings from the discussion. If you or others
are researching a topic and produce a selection of pertinent postings
from the Medit-Plants discussion, I'd very much like to mount these on
this new Web site (providing appropriate aknowledgement to your effort,
of course).

Someday, I expect we may have the complete archives mounted on this new
Web site, but I have not yet addressed that aspect of the project. If
anyone is interested in assisting me in this effort, please let me know.
