dormant oil

I understand that delayed dormant oil spraying is now endorsed by the BC
dep't of Ag- oil only, applies just as the buds break, so the oil gets
into the bud, between the unfurling leaves.  This isconsidered organic,
but the earlier applications with the lime sulphur aren't. There is
great resistance on the part of older gardeners to this new technique,
but it works very well.
