Great idea, Kurt! Let me suggest that some fresh steer manure spread
under the cannibis and papaver would not only serve as a mulch and
fertilizer, but also create a nice medium for psilosibin (sp?) fungi.
Keep it moist. Save a bit of space for sandy, fast-draining soil and
some peyote cacti (sorry, I don't have the genus/species) and agave. I
would also suggest planting some artemesia (wormwood) for absinthe,
nicotiana, cocoa leaves, and your choice of fruit or berry (juniper?)
for the home distillery in the garage. Hops would be good, too.
Wait a sec! I think I saw a garden like this just off of Telegraph
Avenue in Berkeley!
OK, that was a cheap shot. Sorry, Berkeley folks. I grew up in the East
Bay and went to college at "Party U." (Chico State), so can I be
excused?
