Teucrium fruticans

Just a line to say don't despair if you garden in a wetter or even
sodden climate. This charmer can still be yours. Climates don't come
much wetter than this one - and it's a heck of a way from being the
South of France - but dear old T.f. still reliably does its stuff. I
try to give it the front edge of a sunny raised bed and some decent
drainage (aka rubbish) to grow out of but when I have a hole to fill
in a much less promising spot (say, half shaded, soil heavy and damp),
a spare plant of T.f. is one of the first things I tend to reach for.
I just wonder why ALL real Medit. plants can't be as amenable in
un-Medit. climates....
