I don't know where you are, but in U.S. horse magazines, there are a number of
companies that advertise mail order "temporary" or "portable" electirc fence
kits for temporary corrals. Hard to believe, but these operate on flashlight
batteries, and the batteries last for several weeks or more (since they are not
constantly charged, and use a very small amount of amperage). One can use
fiberglass fence posts. They work well for horses, cattle and deer, and should
work well for wild boar - the fencgives gives a very painful shock.
Other than that, one could wait through the night with rifle in hand for the
dinner roast to return.
