Re:Garden in Portugal

Dear Ralph,

Oh if only I were 20 years younger or older! What an adventure
it would be...sigh. If you have no local resources, you might try placing a
position open advertisement in the monthly newsletter of the American
Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta. Their address:

                             AABGA
                             351 Longwood Road
                             Kennett Square,PA 19348
                             USA

Welcome to the group and it's a fine place for general or specific questions.

Is this the right place to send a general question?

I have a house and four-or-so acres of land in southern Alentejo in
Portugal, where I have been living as an artist and fledgling gardener. I
will have to leave the house for between six months and a year, and I was
wondering if anyone knew of anyone reasonably intrepid who would be
interested in staying there for an extended period, particularly someone
with an interest in a mediterranean garden. Is there such a thing as
students of horticulture who might be interested? Any ideas welcome. Thank
you, Ralph Kiggell
