Can anyone tell me what this is?
I wonder if it's something quite common, such as rape-seed oil or flax-oil or
soya oil.... (?)
It is marketed from Canada & apparently edible!
Thanks. "

Hello,
Canola oil is made from a genetically engineered form of rapeseed,
low in erucic acid and low in glucosinolates. It is considered to
be edible but there is some controversy about whether or not it
is harmful with long term use. It was in fact developed in Canada
(thus the name)and is a large and economically important crop there.
