It's hard to imagine anything more spectacular than the winter congregation
of Monarchs in the Eucalyptus groves at Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa
Cruz and the similar congregation, again in Eucalyptus groves, in Pacific
Grove. In spite of all the negatives that have been discussed in this
forum, Eucalyptus do provide important habitat for a number of native
species.
