I am not sure from the way you write about it whether you are aware that
Scilla peruviana has nothing whatsoever to do with Peru. Its naming was
a case of mistaken attribution. In fact it is a good eastern Med. native
growing naturally in dry and sandy places, often near the coast, from
Spain to Italy and in Sardinia, but not Corsica. it also occurs on the
North African coast opposite. 

So I guess it is not at all surprising for it to have reached your
garden. I have it in mine too (a good deal further to migrate!), both
the ordinary blue form and a white one also, though I find the white a
bit insipid.
