Cali -
Thank you for offering your beautiful photos to Medit-Plants folks. It is
indeed unfortunate that this generosity should be rewarded by angry
protests. The sad fact is that all do not possess the technology to deal
with this type of transmission easily. In order to safeguard all against
this in the future, I am going to look into having such attachments
stripped from messages before they are sent out. Too often, well meaning
people such as yourself stumble into being in the middle of this problem
and only learn about it after the fact.
As a means of dealing with this, I'd like to place your photos on our web
site, with your captions. There they can be viewed by any who wish to see
them, at any time. They can come to be part of a garden section which can
even be 'toured'. After they are in place, you will be able to publish the
URL in an e-mail to the group announcing the addition of your photos to the
site.
I can easily deal with your photos, even reducing them to an appropriate
size. Feel free to send me any others you might wish to share.
Other Medit-Plants people who would like to share photos of their own or
others' gardens, please don't hesitate to take me up on this offer as well.
warm regards,
Sean O.
