Here in Monterey and areas surrounding, the most noticeable thing is that
the cherry and plum trees have been confused into blooming by the warm
weather we had here for a few weeks, a few weeks ago. My flowering plum is
starting to swell its flower buds, but i've seen other trees around
Monterey in almost full bloom, a small double flowered one was practically
covered in blossom, and a single blossomed cherry was starting to flower.
Very very odd indeed. But, when I woke up today, the grass in the back
yard was covered in frost, and it didnt warm up too much during the day.
